Privacy and Security Introduction
The privacy and security of permitting.gov customers are of utmost importance. We will collect no personal information about you other than statistical information that can be used to make the site more effective.
Internet Security Policy

Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable by law.

The address of the website linked to permitting.gov website that you used to connect to permitting.gov.
We use this information to help us make our site more useful to visitors; to learn about the number of visitors to our site and the types of technology our visitors use.
Privacy and PII
If you choose to provide the Permitting Council with your personally identifiable information (PII), such as an email message containing a question or comment or completing a site form that emails us information, we may use that information to respond to your message and/or help us get you the information or services you requested. Submitting personally identifiable information (PII) such as name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. is not required to access information on our website or to contact us. The information you provide is not given to any private organizations or private persons. We do not collect or use this information for commercial marketing.
The personally identifiable information (PII) collected for the FAST-41 Initiation Notice (FIN) may be used to coordinate administering FAST-41. We retain the information only for as long as necessary to administer FAST-41. We maintain and destroy information submitted electronically as required by the Federal Records Act and the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA) records schedules. It may be subject to disclosure in certain cases such as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, court order, or Congressional access request, or if authorized by a Privacy Act Systems of Records Notice (SORN).
